Making a safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine available to all Australians is a priority for the Australian Government.

Appointments will increase as the number of clinics grow from 1,000 to more than 4,000 over four weeks. Revisit the eligibility checker if an appointment is not currently available.
Around 1.2 million Australians vaccinated so far; over 50s encouraged to get AstraZeneca vaccine, additional Pfizer vaccines arriving in the second half of the year.
National Cabinet met today to discuss Australia’s COVID-19 response, the Australian COVID-19 Vaccine Strategy and the COVID-19 Risk Analysis and Response framework.
AstraZeneca vaccine recommended for those over the age of 50; Phase 1B of Australia’s vaccination program to continue for those not impacted by this revised advice.
Australians will be able to travel to New Zealand without needing to quarantine from 19 April 2021.
