Department of Education and Training
Indigenous Higher Education Units are located in universities around Australia. These Units provide support to Indigenous students, further Indigenous academic studies, create a network of Indigenous students and academics and provide an Indigenous presence on university campuses.
Department of Industry and Science
A regular report used by all Australian governments, the National Congress of Australia’s First Peoples, the Australian Bureau of Statistics and the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare to understand the nature of Indigenous disadvantage and as a result has helped to inform the development of policies to address Indigenous disadvantage.
