The Australian Digital Health Agency leads and provides direction in developing digital health. It is responsible for the national digital health strategy including the design, development, delivery and national operations. In July 2016 the National E-Health Transition Authority (NEHTA), with the national My Health Record system operation activities formerly managed by the Department of Health, became the Australian Digital Health Agency.
