National Pregnancy Support Helpline
The National Pregnancy Support Helpline provides counselling and support to women, their partners or their families, who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy or who are uncertain about continuing with a pregnancy. Counselling on the Helpline is free, confidential and professional, and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Office for Women (OFW)
The Australian Government Office for Women provides high level advice to the Prime Minister and Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for Women's Issues. It administers programmes, including programmes to combat domestic violence and sexual assault; advises on legislative issues relating to women; provides the principal focus on consultation between the women's sector and government; and represents government at national and international forums on women's issues.
