Qualifications & Skills Recognition
Australian Skills Recognition Information (ASRI)
This site will help you find out how to get an assessment of occupational qualifications, skills or experience that you have gained overseas. You can also find state-specific licensing and registration requirements to practice your occupation in Australia.
Licence Recognition
This website allows you to look up a licence entitlement in another state or territory, based on the currently-held licence. The website also has information on who to contact to apply for a licence. It covers licences issued to electricians; electrical fitters, lineworkers and cable jointers; tradespeople with restricted electrical licences; plumbers and gas-fitters; carpenters and joiners, bricklayers, and builders; refrigeration and air-conditioning mechanics and auto-gas installers.
Qualifications Recognition
AEI-NOOSR is located within Australian Education International (AEI). It provides information and services to help people have their overseas qualifications recognised in Australia.
Skills Assessment
Teaching Australia is the authority designated by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship to conduct skills assessments for the General Skilled Migration Programme for pre-primary, primary and secondary school teaching. Teaching Australia only conducts assessments for migration.
Skills Recognition
Skills recognition means that the skills and knowledge you already have through informal learning may count towards a nationally recognised qualification or statement of attainment. Explore the site to learn what skills recognition is all about and whether it applies to you.
Trades Recognition Australia
Trades Recognition Australia provides occupational skills assessment services for International applicants and Trade skill certification services for permanent Australian residents.
