The Australian Law Reform Commission conducts inquiries into, and reviews of, specific areas of the law and legal practice referred to it by the federal Attorney-General. In conducting an inquiry, the Commission undertakes comprehensive research, engages in wide-spread consultation, and canvasses policy reform options.
Breaking the Gridlock
Breaking the Gridlock contains policy material issued by the Minister for Employment and Workplace Relations on behalf of the Australian Government. The material examines the case for a simpler national workplace relations system in Australia based on different constitutional foundations. The website aims to promote a constructive debate across Australia among those who are familiar with the workplace relations system and those who are not familiar with the system.
Copyright Law Review Committee (CLRC)
The Copyright Law Review Committee (CLRC) was formerly a part-time committee appointed by the Attorney-General to consider and report on specific matters referred to it. The committee is no longer in existence.
