Australian Hearing (AH)
Australian Hearing provides hearing rehabilitation services and hearing aids to children and adults with complex hearing problems. It competes with private service providers under the Voucher Scheme administered by the Office of Hearing Services for the provision of hearing rehabilitation services and hearing aids, hearing impaired age pensioners and eligible veterans. It conducts hearing related research via its research division (the National Acoustic Laboratories).
CRS Australia
CRS Australia delivers vocational rehabilitation services to Australian citizens or residents who have an injury, disability or health condition. We assist people who have a disability or injury to get a job or return to their job. This service is free to people receiving income support payments from Centrelink.
Disabilities
The Department of Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs manages and funds a range of programs to support people with disabilities, including those with a vision impairment and families and carers.
