Overall, these programs aim to assist landholders, government agencies, and community groups to better manage river landscapes.
Wet Tropics Management Authority
The Wet Tropics Management Authority is a small agency responsible for managing the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area. It answers to both levels of Government, and is directed by an independent board of directors appointed by the Ministerial Council.
